Filling is the process of completing the hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in the skin, connective tissue and decreases over time. It is used to fill deep wrinkles, detention pits and plump lips. Filling materials are divided into 2 main classes as permanent and temporary.
Hyaluronic acid, which is included in the temporary filling materials, is a substance located in the dermis layer of the skin of all living things. It is also found in the eyes, joints and muscle tissues outside the skin. Due to its water retention, it plays a role in maintaining skin elasticity. Depending on the region to be filled, hyaluronic acid material of different molecular weight is selected. We can use the fillers directly in the area where we want to gain trough, collapse or volume, and can be made in modern applications with modern fillings indirectly.
In particular, lines starting from the nose and down to the edge of the lip, wrinkles coming down from the lip edge to the chin, wrinkles between the two eyebrows or forehead, and the lines forming the crowbar appearance on the edge of the eye are often deep and cannot be corrected by skin abrasion methods. For this purpose, fillers are used. It is also used to reduce cavities and detention bruises, thicken lips, or make lips more pronounced. It contributes to the reduction of wrinkle, collapse and deformation problems in the applied area.
The filling process lasts for an average of 6-12 months depending on the properties of the hyaluronic acid material used.
